I am delighted to share some joyful news with you: Genesis Spiritual Life and Conference Center has hired Emma Tacy as our new Program Director.
Emma comes to Genesis with a rich background in mission-driven nonprofit work, large-scale community event planning, and parish ministry. She has coordinated major events throughout Western Massachusetts, mentored and supported volunteers and interns, and helped ensure welcoming, safe, and meaningful experiences for participants of all ages. She also brings many years of service in parish Faith Formation and parish-wide initiatives, expressing a deep commitment to the spiritual life and to creating genuinely transformative experiences for others.
In her role as Program Director, Emma will help shape and oversee our retreats and programs, collaborate with presenters, and support our extended-stay guests. She has expressed great enthusiasm for the mission and charism of Genesis and a desire to help foster an atmosphere of hospitality, prayer, and spiritual renewal for all who come through our doors.
Emma began her ministry with us on Monday, March 2nd. In the weeks and months ahead, you will see her presence in our communications, at our retreats and programs, and around the Genesis grounds as she gets to know our community.
