From Chaos to Clarity: Calming the Inner Caregiver
With Kathleen Heery
May 4, 2027
Imagine moving beyond mere survival and rediscovering the steadiness, clarity, and resilience that first called you to care for others. Join Kathy Heery, a Registered Nurse with more than 45 years of experience, for a day devoted to stabilizing the overwhelmed nervous system and restoring inner steadiness. At this retreat, caregivers will learn to recognize the tender edge between compassion and depletion and gain language for burnout, compassion fatigue, and boundary erosion.
Through guided reflection, mindfulness, journaling, breath and body practices, and practical daily tools, participants move from reactive survival into thoughtful response. In a safe, supportive community, caregivers will leave feeling seen, validated, and equipped with realistic restorative practices that fit into real life.
