Nancy Sheridan, SASVNancy Y. Sheridan is a spiritual director having spent many years on the staff of the Center for Religious Development in Cambridge. Nancy has extensive national and international experience with Ignatian spirituality both within the Roman Catholic tradition and ecumenically.

Nicki Verploegen, Ph.D.Dr. Nicki Verploegen is Co-Founder of TATENDA International, a nonprofit which cares for caregivers worldwide through retreats and pastoral visits. Originally from Montana, Nicki grew up under the Big Sky and has allowed her passion for the world to carry her to over 50 countries .
She has a Ph.D. in spirituality and served for eight years as Director of Spiritual and Ministerial Development at Weston Jesuit School of Theology in Cambridge, MA. She trained students in spiritual direction at the University of Mount Saint Joseph.
Her books on spirituality through Wipf and Stock include Planning and Implementing Retreats: A Parish Handbook., Organic Spirituality: A Sixfold Path for Contemplative Living, Meditations With Merton, and From Monks to Missioners.
8-Day Silent Directed Retreat
During a silent directed retreat, each participant meets daily with an experienced spiritual director who serves as a spiritual companion throughout the retreat. Utilizing their specialized training, conversations with your spiritual director will enhance your prayer experience and help you discern where the Spirit might be leading you. Aside from these daily conversations you can set aside the time for your own personal prayer, journaling, art, exploration of the grounds at Genesis, spiritual reading or your choice of contemplative practices. Your retreat is unstructured so that you can take opportunity for rest or reflection throughout our grounds and facility.
