This time is one of longing for insights, a reflective period to quiet our hearts.  How do we make this a special time, while managing our daily obligations?  Poetry serves as an avenue to plumb the depths of our souls in very few words.  Poetry creates space for the imagination, providing hope in the unseen and inexplicable.  Poetry emerges from parts of us that ordinary language fails to grasp and leads us to unexpected places.

We will gather as a community and read one or two poems each week to contemplate, pray with, and discuss in order to embark on a spiritual pilgrimage and prayer practice at this holy time of year.  No prior knowledge of poetry or ability to write poetry necessary.
