What is MBSR?
The program’s central purpose is to support individuals dealing with stress, illness and/or pain who wish to become more resilient and nurture healthy attitudes and well-being amidst the difficulties they’re facing.
Numerous studies show that MBSR improves health and well-being in part by: reducing stress, anxiety and depression; enhancing immune function; and fostering better interpersonal relations.
Meditation, group discussion, inquiry and mindful movement will be used to teach how to use mindfulness to respond more effectively to stress.
