“Stories must be told or they will die.” Sue Monk Kidd
Leave the GPS at home and let yourself wander freely through the stories of your life. Using paper maps (remember them?) as the medium that will guide and inspire us, we will first trace the places, people, sounds, smells, tastes, images, textures and turning points of our lives, listening for those that we might call “sacred.” You will then work with one of those stories, unpacking it through various creative means. Note: you do not have to be “creative” to enjoy this experience. Finally, there will be time to explore what route, path, road or direction you may be want or need to follow next.
Begins with supper at 6:00pm on Monday and concludes with lunch at noon on Thursday. Cost: Private Room $380; Semi-private Room $355; Commuter with meals, $295.
