Do you love doing yoga and exercising but no longer want to get down on the floor? Are you sitting at a desk all day and need to learn techniques for stretching and staying fit? Join me for the sitting mountain series of LVCY Chair Yoga. You will learn Hatha Yoga and Chi-Gong on a chair and chair assisted moves. Mat needed for chair assist. Improve your physical and mental wellness and work at your own level of flexibility. Learn breathing techniques to increase oxygenation, improve body tone and flexibility with one pound weights, and end with a deep relaxation. Regardless of your age or activity level, these classes will improve your coordination, strength, mobility and sense of wellbeing. Wear loose clothing, flat soft shoes or socks and bring one pound weights.
1:45pm - 3:00pm Fee: $64 for the entire eight weeks; $48 for any six weeks. A drop-in rate of $10 per class is also available. Pre-registration is required.
