Are you in a transitional period of life? Divorce, retirement, empty nest syndrome, death of a loved one, relocation, the beginning of a new relationship, a change in job or status? If so, this is the retreat for you!

Embracing the Work of Change is a five-day program designed to give participants both practical and spiritual tools for dealing with life’s crises and changes. Led by retreat director, holistic life coach, and author Betty Hill Crowson, this retreat is based upon the material contained in her first book, The Joy is in the Journey: A Woman’s Guide through Crisis and Change.

Topics which will be explored are those of Acceptance, Balance, Spirituality, Letting Go, Healing, Discernment, Taking Right Action, and Living Consciously. Each day will also include appropriate and meaningful prayer services, presentations, written assignments, opportunities to share, meditation, ritual, and a long afternoon break to walk, sleep, or explore the surrounding communities.

This is a winner all around!

Begins with supper at 6:00pm on Monday and concludes with breakfast on Friday. Fee: Resident with private room, $465; Semi-private room, $440; Commuter with meals, $380. Deposit $150. Balance due 14 days prior to start of retreat.

Do What I Can
If I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain: If I can ease one life the aching, Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin Unto his nest again, I shall not live in vain.
— Emily Dickinson
