Becoming More Fully Alive: Living Your Life as Spiritual Practice
August 25-31, Friday supper to Thursday lunch
A healthy spirituality encompasses every aspect of our lives and orients us towards “life to the full” across the entire range of human experience. We will look at the various activities that make up our lives with an eye towards how everything in our day can become part of our spiritual practice.
Though we sometimes separate out body, mind, and spirit to be able to talk about them, a holistic spirituality views them as inseparable, dynamic, interactive dimensions of the one person I am, each dimension having a profound impact on every other dimension. So if something is good for my soul, then it is ultimately good for my body, and vice versa. Today, a wholesome Christian spirituality is Christian life in the Spirit. And the glory of God is the man or woman fully alive! You will emerge from this retreat with fresh vision and renewed energy for your life back home.
Begins with supper at 6:00pm on Friday and concludes with lunch at noon on Thursday. Cost $555. Deposit $150. Balance due 10 days prior to start of retreat.
