Spiritual Enrichment

Life is hello; Life is good-bye. Life means having and holding—then letting go—even what we love best! Grief is a normal and natural response to loss and we can survive loss.

How do I let go? This retreat will allow you to mourn, so you may be comforted. Healthy grieving results in an ability to remember the importance of our loss and with a new found sense of peace rather than searing pain. We can move beyond endurance to accept new life into our lives.

This retreat will be limited to five participants.  It is recommended that there be a space of at least six months of experiencing the loss of the loved one.

Begins with supper at 6:00pm on Monday and concludes with lunch at noon on Sunday. Cost $495. Deposit $150. Balance due ten days prior to start of retreat.

Leaders: Pat Smith, SSJ

Do What I Can
If I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain: If I can ease one life the aching, Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin Unto his nest again, I shall not live in vain.
— Emily Dickinson
